2027 Team Registration - OPENS OCTOBER 1st

Team registration is ONLINE ONLY and requires payment by credit card at the time of registration. Smokin' on the Rio no longer accepts "mail-in" registration forms. If you need assistance registering, please contact us via email at smokinontherio@gmail.com.

Renewal Registration/Jackpots: ($300 per TEAM + $50 per Jackpot. Opens October 1st, 2026 at 10AM till November 23rd, 2026 at 10PM

OPEN Registration/Jackpots: ($300 per TEAM + $50 per Jackpot. Opens December 1st, 2026 at 10AM till February 8th, 2027 at 10PM

LATE Registration/Jackpots will be accepted at the team check in gate on Thursday, February 12th, 2027 till 1PM.

ATTENTION - High School Teams

New for 2025! High School Team Competition

NEW! High School Team Division has been added to the 2025 Smokin' on the Rio. High School Teams will compete against other high school teams for awards and recogntion. In addition, they will also be competing against allt the other Smokin' on the Rio contestants for the top prizes. High School teams division prizes will be separate awards (non-monetary). However, the advertised $ payouts are for all teams, of which High School teams are eligible. Same registration dates apply. Campsites are pre-assigned in a designated area. Register here.
